About Queennie

Queennie Tai Zee Queen is the Managing Partner of Tai & Khan Partnership. She leads the firm’s conveyancing and corporate practice groups, and is an Advocate and Solicitor of the High Court of Malaya, admitted in November 2019.

She holds an LLB (Hons) from the University of Hull and was called to the Bar of England and Wales by Lincoln’s Inn, after completing the Bar Professional Training Course at City University London.

Her main area of practice is real property and land. She advises property developers at each stage of a project, from residential developments to serviced apartments and mixed-use schemes. This work covers the preparation and review of transaction documents, regulatory compliance and the practical steps needed to bring a project to completion.

Outside project work, Queennie acts on sale and purchase transactions for residential, commercial and industrial property. Her clients include Malaysian and international individuals, companies and investors. She also advises on wills, probate and the administration of estates.

She has experience in dispute resolution and litigation as well. That background helps her see legal risk early in a transaction and shape the documents to avoid a dispute, rather than fight one later.

Queennie works closely with each client to understand what they want from a transaction, then sets out a clear and commercially sensible way to get there.
